SEAN GRETZ, O.D. , DIPL ABO MEDICAL OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Sean Gretz is a native of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in cellular neuroscience from St. Lawrence University in New York. He then completed his professional training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where he graduated in 2018 with clinical honors.

Following graduation, Dr. Gretz completed a residency program in primary care and ocular disease at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Gretz has been practicing optometry in Delaware since 2019. He provides comprehensive, primary eye care with a focus on ocular disease and emergency medicine.

He is currently a member of the Delaware Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In 2022, Dr. Gretz achieved Diplomate certification from the American Board of Optometry. In his spare time, Dr. Gretz enjoys cooking and reading. He currently resides in Dover, Delaware where he lives with his family.

I had Lasik done about a week ago and all I can say is I’m very impressed. A great surgeon, calm and professional which made me comfortable. I loved how informational he was. He did not use big medical terms to explain Lasik, he used eye models, pictures and diagrams. My vision a week later is 20/15 in both eyes. Before Lasik I could barely see the big E without my glasses a huge improvement

Our city of Dover is blessed to have Dr. Creech. He is a fantastic surgeon with the added bonus of a warm and caring bedside manner. He always has time to answer my questions and address my concerns professionally and thoroughly. His convenient location on the first floor at Eden Hill Medical Center directly across from the Surgery Center is another great asset, especially when I need to have someone accompanying me for my visits.

Dr. Creech is excellent and makes sure to go over every step with his patients. He want them to be sure they know what they are getting into and are comfortable before they walk out of the room. He is very like able and definitely a reason to go to this place.
