TANYA MALHOTRA, O.D. , DIPL ABO MEDICAL OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Tanya Malhotra grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. She then traveled to Philadelphia to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, during which she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

She completed rotations in ocular disease, low vision and contact lenses at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in South Carolina. She was also selected for a neuro-ophthalmic disease internship at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia.

Dr. Malhotra graduated magna cum laude as a Doctor of Optometry with clinical honors in neuro-ophthalmic disease and primary care, and went on to complete her ocular disease residency at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Maryland. During her residency, she presented at the American Academy of Optometry and also achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Optometry.

I had Lasik done about a week ago and all I can say is I’m very impressed. A great surgeon, calm and professional which made me comfortable. I loved how informational he was. He did not use big medical terms to explain Lasik, he used eye models, pictures and diagrams. My vision a week later is 20/15 in both eyes. Before Lasik I could barely see the big E without my glasses a huge improvement

Our city of Dover is blessed to have Dr. Creech. He is a fantastic surgeon with the added bonus of a warm and caring bedside manner. He always has time to answer my questions and address my concerns professionally and thoroughly. His convenient location on the first floor at Eden Hill Medical Center directly across from the Surgery Center is another great asset, especially when I need to have someone accompanying me for my visits.

Dr. Creech is excellent and makes sure to go over every step with his patients. He want them to be sure they know what they are getting into and are comfortable before they walk out of the room. He is very like able and definitely a reason to go to this place.
