My name is Dr. Doran, a local Orthopedic surgeon. I have wanted to have Lasik for a long time but never had the nerve to electively get surgery on my eyes. Dr Munro and his staff are wonderful. They are very professional, yet friendly. Dr Munro has a great bedside manor and explains things in everyday language. Scheduling appointments was quick and waiting time in the office was short. The surgical staff made a somewhat scary procedure easier for me. Dr. Munro was always courteous, willing to listen to my questions and give answers and solutions. I never felt rushed during my appointments. He explained the procedure, what I could expect before and after surgery. Day of surgery, he was there beforehand to go over the procedure again. Expertise is evident but also also comfort and caring is there. He took time with us as so did his staff. I am going back for my second cataract removal and he our man. After you get past the receptionist, everything is well handled. The online system for new patients didn’t work and I was handed a packet to fill out again, with no explanation or apology. Plan to wait a bit, but seeing the staff is well worth the wait. Friendly, accommodating, social and well versed, the staff moved many patients through without pause. Dr. Halpern was thorough, kind, and informative. Scheduling was easy, check out as well.
